About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: BLS Must-Have: RNs must bring their own stethoscope. Experience in High Risk OB & OB/GYN. Assessment skills including height/weight, interpretation of laboratory results, obtaining vital signs, patient health questionnaires/history/allergies, and pulse oximetry. Cardiovascular skills including cardiac arrest/CPR. Office duties such as pharmacy calls, patient refill requests, and telephone triage. Professional knowledge and skills in biohazard waste disposal, follow-up phone calls, medication refills, and patient teaching. Labor & delivery experience is required. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to cancellations. RNs must bring their own stethoscope for use. Traveler experience is accepted for first-time travelers. Local candidates may apply with rate differences. Average daily census is 14, with approximately 28 visits per day. There is no call requirement. There is no float requirement. No weekend requirement. Patient age groups include adolescents and adults. Common patient diagnoses involve high-risk pregnancies. The unit specializes in IVF, GDM, and twins. RNs must be proficient in labor and delivery skills. The unit utilizes EPIC for charting. All testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility. References can be pending at submission. Pre-start modules should be completed before starting. Candidates must use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for online modules.
