Contract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a high-acuity, Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one on-call day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
• Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the standard scheduled 4 shifts per week
• Float within scope of practice to EP or IR as needed to meet facility demands
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license required; pending Alaska RN license accepted for submission, but license must be in hand for offer
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab or relevant RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Must be available for on-call shifts and weekend obligations as outlined in the schedule
• Only one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment; all RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
