Position Overview

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting veterinarians and technicians with patient treatments, procedures, and daily hospital operations. Work Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Assist medical staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Gather patient histories and prepare pets for appointments
• Educate clients on preventive healthcare recommendations
• Assist with anesthesia preparation and patient monitoring
• Perform blood collection, catheter placement, and diagnostic testing
• Safely handle and restrain patients during procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout treatment areas
• Support overall hospital efficiency and patient care standards

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant

• Experience performing venipuncture and catheter placement
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and diagnostic procedures
• Comfortable assisting with anesthesia and patient monitoring
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
