Job Description
The 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation of conveyor systems, heavy machinery, and robotics within a small maintenance team of 2-5 members. This technician is responsible for performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and system inspections, leveraging a variety of tools such as standard hand tools, advanced diagnostic software, and specialized maintenance equipment. With a focus on safety compliance and technical support, the technician helps maintain operational efficiency and machinery longevity.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment repair and parts replacement to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections on machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in conveyor systems, heavy machinery, and robotics
- Calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Provide technical support and assist with machine installation
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in industrial maintenance
- Mechanical repair skills with knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- Effective communication and time management skills
