PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Monday - Thursday

7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Friday

7:00 am - 4:00 pm

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure schedules, quality standards, and customer deadlines are met.
• Assign work, monitor employee productivity, and adjust staffing to meet production demands.
• Train, coach, and develop production employees while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Monitor workflow and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and company specifications.
• Collaborate with scheduling, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain accurate production reports, labor records, and shift documentation.
• Conduct daily production meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and safety expectations.
• Enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and quality standards.
• Address employee performance, attendance, and workplace concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality system preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
