Ultrasound Technologist – Per Diem Providence Health and Services, Healdsburg, CA. 8‑hour variable shifts. Under the direction of a staff radiologist or cardiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations and prepares patients for evaluation. Operates ultrasound imaging equipment, sends images to PACS, maintains exam rooms, and supplies. Transports patients safely and available for standby as required. Assists with department performance improvement program. Required Qualifications Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting (internships acceptable for new graduates). Preferred Qualifications 1 year experience in an acute care setting. Experience with various manufacturers and models of ultrasound units. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $54.74 – $84.98 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
