Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Alabama RN license or compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and at least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience. Experience with Cerner EMR systems is recommended. Skills in critical thinking, rapid assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are valuable. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and travel nursing experience are recommended.
