Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds -24 · Number of Staff – 80 · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 13 nurses and 1 secretary/tech o Night Shift - 13 nurses 1 secretary/tech · Patient Ratios – 1:1-3 · Type of equipment – Alaris Pumps, Pyxis, Baxter CRRT, Codman Drains, GE monitors, EV1000, artic sun, · EMR -Meditech Must have : Recent ICU hospital experience · NIHSS · ACLS/BLS/Critical Care Preferred or nice to have : · Neuro critical Care · Travel Experience/Meditech Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Bedside Tracheostomies · Central Lines/Chest tubes/PEG tubes/a-lines/ventric/intubations Best personality Fit: · Easy going/flexible with assignments · Treating coworkers like a second family Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color - Royal Blue Scrubs · No showing tattoos Unit Guidelines/Policies : · 2 RN foley insertion with patient note written who was present · Daily CHG baths on all patients · Attending present for all resident placed central lines/intubations/thoracentesis TRAVEL- RN – ICU - COST CENTER (653) / 7:00PM-7:00AM (1021475) Application and testing from agency required to be submitted.
