Senior Software Engineer

Job TitlePay Range: $47hr - $52hrRequirement/Must HaveBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering.Expertise in Java programming language including frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate.Expertise in REST API development.Proficiency in implementing Java rules engines such as Drools.Proficiency in enterprise Java applications using EJB, JMS, and server-side programming.Hands-on experience with WebLogic application server.Proficiency in migrating on-prem applications to cloud-native applications.Expertise in implementing scalable containerized computing and solutions such as Kubernetes and Docker.Good hands-on experience working with Oracle and MySQL databases.Proficiency in data formats such as JSON, HL7, and XML.Experience with Agile development, DevSecOps, and standard software development tools such as Git and Jira.Deep technical knowledge of one public cloud service (preferably Azure).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, enterprise architects, and IT teams, to develop and deliver high-quality software.Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best-in-class technology to provide a competitive advantage.Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes following best practices.Ensure high operational efficiency and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support commitment to customers.Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed applications.Nice to HaveExperience in the healthcare industry, preferably focusing on clinical and billing data.Experience with tools like Dynatrace.
