Customer Service Delivery Driver

Job Description This position works closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. The role includes delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores in a safe and timely manner using company vans or pick‑up trucks. The successful candidate will work at Store #1108, 346 Stockbridge Rd., Great Barrington, MA 01230. A background check, including criminal history review, is required to protect employees, customers and the public. Responsibilities Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis Maintain precise work order files and documentation Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles Maintain the store vehicle and notify supervisor of repair and servicing needs Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules Comply with all relevant laws, traffic regulations, and safety procedures when driving Prepare reports and documents related to deliveries Operate equipment and machines such as forklifts and other vehicle types Minimum Requirements At least 21 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Valid, unrestricted driver’s license Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends If employed within Sherwin-Williams, a minimum “meets expectations” rating on the most recent performance appraisal If employed within Sherwin-Williams, completion of required HR Cloud eLearning courses Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service Previous experience selling paint or paint‑related products Proficiency in more than one language Proficiency in Spanish Benefits The position includes eligibility for health benefits (including prescription savings and virtual physician visits), retirement and savings benefits, and paid time off such as vacation, holidays, and military leave.
