Job Summary The East Side Club, a private men-only gay club in New York City, is seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and discreet environment for our members and guests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, respects privacy, and is comfortable working in an adult, men-only club setting.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping

Clean and sanitize all club areas.

Monitor, clean, and disinfect restrooms and locker areas throughout shifts

Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed

Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal

Promptly address spills or cleaning needs to maintain a safe environment

Follow and enforce all health, safety, and hygiene standards

Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while on duty

Qualifications

Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, or housekeeper preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

Professional, respectful, and discreet demeanor

Comfortable working in a men-only, LGBTQ+ club environment

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting without compromising quality

Capable of standing for extended periods and performing light lifting
