The culinary team cannot execute without clean equipment. The servers cannot deliver without clean dishware. The guest cannot have a great dining experience without the foundation you provide. No prior kitchen experience is required. Many of our kitchen team members started exactly where you would be starting, and for the right person, there is real room to grow.What You'll Be DoingWashing, sanitizing, and returning dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to the line in a timely and organized manner throughout the shiftOperating commercial dishwashing equipment safely and according to established proceduresMaintaining the dish station in a clean, organized, and fully functional condition at all timesMonitoring and maintaining proper dish machine temperatures, chemical levels, and wash cycles, notifying a supervisor immediately if something is offSorting and stacking clean dishware, glassware, and utensils correctly and efficiently so the team always has what they needRemoving trash, breaking down boxes, and keeping the kitchen clean and free of hazards throughout the shiftCleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment as directed by kitchen leadershipAssisting with deliveries, supply storage, and general kitchen organization as neededSupporting the culinary and stewarding team with tasks that contribute to a smooth and efficient operationFollowing all food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures in accordance with health codes and property standardsCommunicating with kitchen team members in a positive, professional, and collaborative manner throughout the shiftReporting any equipment issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages to your supervisor promptlyWhat We're Looking ForA strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to do what needs to be done to keep the operation runningReliability and punctuality; your team counts on you to be there and to be readyA positive, team-first attitude; kitchens run on collaboration and your energy contributes to thatThe ability to move quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environmentComfort with physical, active work for the full duration of a shiftWillingness to follow instructions and learn established proceduresBasic communication skills and the ability to work well with othersFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; food service does not follow a traditional scheduleNo prior kitchen experience required; we will train you on everything you need to knowQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderPrior kitchen, food service, or dishwashing experience is a plus but absolutely not requiredAbility to accurately follow both verbal and written instructionsAbility to stand and remain active and on your feet for the full duration of a shiftAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as neededComfortable with bending, reaching, pushing, and moving quickly throughout the kitchenComfortable working in a warm, wet, and fast-paced environmentFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFood handler certification is a plus or willingness to obtain upon hirePhysical RequirementsThis is a physically active role for the full duration of every shift. You should be comfortable standing and moving continuously, lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, and working in a warm and wet kitchen environment.
