If you enjoy meeting new people, genuinely care about customer service, and have a commitment to safety and like variety at work, come help us save the world "one lug at a time"!ResponsibilitiesComplete all jobs according to company standards, practices, and mission statementSafely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local lawsAssist in training new hires in subordinate rolesAttend all mandatory training, meetings, and eventsDaily truck safety inspectionsHelp maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issuesMaintain and reinforce a safety culture at The JunkluggersEmbrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement ideasProvide operational support when needed, such as dispatchingEngage with customers to facilitate purchase and drive valueServe as the point person in the field for both management and your fellow luggersParticipate in key grass roots marketing effortsQualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must – this is a customer-facing roleAbility to learn and use technology in the field to execute job requirements, quickly and efficientlyLearn and master skills of both navigator and driver positionsAbility to effectively utilize and manage resource locations (donation, recycling, and disposal centers) and use them efficientlyAttention to detail in understanding truck operation, maintenance, and careExhibit a strong safety attitude and be assertive with others when enforcing safety practices and other company policiesConfident and courageous in reporting infractions, accidents, or other issues to managementAbility to influence and lead team(s) in the field and show potential for advancementAbility to work full-time, including some SaturdaysObtain and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving recordMust be able to commute to/from our locationClean driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screenSupply own mobile phone (company will provide tablets for on-the-job duties)Ability to lift 75 lbsCompensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
