Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Longview, TX. This position involves working in a dynamic clinical setting, independently providing both routine and complex care for patients with diverse diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory issues, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families per their level of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side-effects and effectiveness per appropriate protocol.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers, identifying issues and resources.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current RN License in the state of TX or compact
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
