Jersey City, NJ, United States (On-site) Contract (6 months 16 days) Published 3 days ago Servicenow development Performance & Capacity Management SQL REST / SOAP production support Agile/SCRUM release management We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support and enhance the organization's Capacity Management processes within the ServiceNow platform. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that improve infrastructure capacity planning, utilization tracking, forecasting, performance analytics, and operational reporting. The role requires close collaboration with Capacity Management, Infrastructure, Cloud, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to ensure proactive management of IT resources and services. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, workflows, and integrations within ServiceNow to support Capacity Management processes. Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CMDB, Service Mapping, Performance Analytics, Discovery, and Reporting. Develop capacity dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting reports for servers, storage, network, cloud, and application resources. Integrate ServiceNow with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Nagios, Azure Monitor, and AWS CloudWatch. Automate data collection, trend analysis, threshold alerts, and capacity planning workflows. Support CMDB health initiatives and ensure accurate infrastructure asset and configuration data. Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and Scheduled Jobs. Partner with Capacity Management teams to analyze utilization trends and recommend automation improvements. Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, testing, and release management activities. Create technical documentation, process flows, and knowledge articles. Troubleshoot platform issues and provide Level 3 support for ServiceNow-related incidents and enhancements. Required Skills: ServiceNow Expertise 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. Strong hands-on experience with: ITSM CMDB Service Mapping Discovery Performance Analytics Flow Designer Integration Hub Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications and portals. Technical Skills: REST API, SOAP, JSON, XML integrations. SQL and data analysis skills. Experience with ServiceNow reporting and dashboard development. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Capacity Management Knowledge Understanding of: ITIL Capacity Management processes Capacity planning and forecasting Trend analysis and predictive analytics Hybrid Cloud environments (AWS, Azure) Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) ITIL Foundation Certification Banking or Financial Services industry experience preferred. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.67/hour - $54.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
