Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Float to an additional affiliated hospital campus as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• EPIC proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Must successfully pass onsite competency testing upon arrival at orientation (one attempt only); candidates will have 2 attempts to complete Relias testing during onboarding in preparation for onsite assessment
• If previously employed at this health system, must have been separated for 6 or more months and be in good standing to be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between units or facilities in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
