Survey Technician

Survey TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Survey Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, assisting with drafting, and working with survey team and managers. This position will be based out of our Northwest Arkansas (NWA) office but will spend a significant amount of time supporting projects at job sites in Claremore and Muskogee, Oklahoma, with occasional work on projects throughout NWA.ResponsibilitiesConduct field surveys using various surveying equipment, including total stations, levels, and GPSAssist with drafting and data management using CAD softwareMaintain and calibrate surveying equipmentAssist with recordkeeping and documentationWork collaboratively with surveying staff and project managersOther duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field; LSIT certification preferred1+ years of experience in surveying or related fieldHeavy civil construction experience is a plus, but not requiredProficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3DKnowledge of surveying equipment and software, including GPS and robotic total stationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
