Dietitian

Pride Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at Port Charlotte, FL 33949 . The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patient populations and demonstrate the ability to deliver evidence-based nutritional care in a fast-paced acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients Provide medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed Educate patients and families on dietary needs and overall wellness Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required Patient Population: Adult patients in an acute care hospital setting Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in acute care settings Familiarity with therapeutic diets and nutrition support protocols Location: Port Charlotte, FL 33949 Schedule: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days) Open Positions: 1 Traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Parking available on the 3rd or 4th floor of the parking garage for AM & PM shifts.
