Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Plantation, FL. You will accurately follow physician scanning protocols, administer contrast materials when appropriate, and expertly operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT or radiography as required by the facility.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with GE CT systems, including Discovery 450 or similar models preferred.
• Experience using Meditech or similar EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to variable clinical demands.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred but not required.
• RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT credentials preferred.
• Prior experience performing CT, MRI, body CT, and diagnostic X-ray exams preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital radiology department or trauma setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00-19:30.
• Shift pattern includes 12.5-hour shifts.
• Facility operates two CT scanners with a 1:1 patient ratio; staff work 12-hour shifts across day and night rotations.
• Dress code: royal blue or white scrubs.
