• High School Diploma or GED required
• Optical, medical office, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills with patient-focused communication
• Ability to learn optical products, lens types, and eyewear terminology
• Basic computer skills; electronic medical records experience a plus
• Experience with vision insurance verification preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in orders, measurements, and records
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to assist patients with frame and lens selection based on needs and budget
• Perform basic optical measurements (e.g., PD) and eyewear adjustments
• Process eyewear orders, payments, and patient transactions accurately
• Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyeglasses as needed
• Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls efficiently
• Maintain frame, lens, and optical supply inventory
• Follow HIPAA compliance and clinic procedures
• Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience
