As a driving Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.72 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 02:00 AM Sat06:00 PM - 02:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Assist with maintaining accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
