Here at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital we are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician near Athens in Bethlehem, GA. The ideal candidates will be committed to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients. New grads are welcome to apply.
Requirements & Highlights:
- BC/BE MD
- Active license in GA or eligible to obtain
- Moderate patient volume; 18-22 per day
- Basic dermatology procedures
- M-F schedule with no weekends or call
- General sick and well visits
- Support staff 1 NP & 2 MAs

Bethlehem is located in Barrow County, an incorporated town on Georgia State Highway 11, 4 miles South of Winder, 9 miles North of Monroe and 18 miles from Athens off Highway 316. Because of its Biblical name and Christian significance, Bethlehem is always the scene of special activity around Christmas-time. Harrison Poultry, Inc. located in Bethlehem, is the second largest employer in Barrow County with more than 1100 employees. The business was begun in 1948 and grew from a hatching/broiler house, to a processing facility and today processes a million chickens a week.
