5x8 hour Day Shift from 06:30 to 15:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will work in an acute care hospital environment, which is equipped with 392 staffed beds. Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and managing dysrhythmias. The RN will utilize the Mediteach charting system while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with an interdisciplinary support team.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures.
• Document patient care and interventions in Mediteach.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Experience with diagnostic cardiac procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current California State Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
