Position Clinical Nurse Manager; Behavioral Health Location Swedish Hospital Employment Type Full Time Hours & Travel Days with rotating hours. Ability to travel to other sites as needed. Qualifications Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or a Healthcare related discipline preferred. BLS/CPR certification required. Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred. Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively. Responsibilities Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit. Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies. Create a therapeutic departmental environment that promotes engagement with nursing and multidisciplinary teams. Establish constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees. Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience. Lead unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence‑based practice. Promote development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciative inquiry. Create and maintain a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment.
