Your future role at a glance Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers Schedule: Day shift | Full-time Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000.00 Salary: $48.36 - $68.26 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver professional nursing care, fulfill all on-call requirements, and prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for cardiovascular surgical or invasive procedures, with 2 years of OR experience needed. Perform scrub functions and handle instruments and supplies used during complex cardiovascular surgical procedures. Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition while managing overall nursing care. Assist operating physicians and anesthesia providers with accessing and maintaining lines and intubation during cardiovascular procedures. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
