Urology Physician Requirements

• Board-certified Urologist
• Minimum 1 year of physician experience required
• Ability to provide weekend call coverage in an acute care setting
• Comfort managing routine urology cases, including difficult Foley placements and kidney stones
• Ability to meet emergency privileging requirements during onboarding
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with physician assistant support staff

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing weekend call coverage for urology services
• Respond to patient care needs from the main campus within the required response time
• Manage routine urology consults and urgent patient needs as they arise
• Collaborate with physician assistants for initial patient assessments and escalation of care when needed
• Deliver timely clinical decision-making for off-site and on-site call coverage
• Support continuity of care with a patient-centered, team-oriented approach
