Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Providing specialized critical care nursing services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team through Shared Governance to promote evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and uphold core values of Respect, Dignity, Involvement, and Excellence in all interactions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and stay updated on ICU best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Nursing License required.
• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer systems.
