Tumble Brook Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of seasonal part-time Lifeguard. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. This is a seasonal role to be available from May 1st to September 15th. Key responsibilities include supervising and observing swimmers at all times to ensure their safety, administering first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers, maintaining amenities in and cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms and showers, assisting in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by department manager, enforcing the rules of conduct, performing pool maintenance to include checking chemicals and pool vacuuming, checking the first aid supplies and reporting needed items to management in a timely fashion, organizing and monitoring pool games at all times; suggesting pool-side games, skimming bugs and other debris from surface to prepare pool for daily use, emptying automatic skimmer, cleaning up and organizing pool area at the end of the day, maintaining all necessary records determined by the department manager, and incorporating safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum qualifications include a minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience and this job requires the American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. Other qualifications include regular and reliable attendance and knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
