Prevailance Inc. is seeking a skilled and mission-focused professional to join the Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC) team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), providing critical support for formalized naval training. This role involves high-risk training evolutions and specialized instruction in firefighting, engineering, and related subjects at the Engineering Learning Site (ELS) Pearl Harbor. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Support formalized naval training through instruction, testing, curriculum updates, and administration
• Assist in remediation efforts to enhance student learning outcomes
• Ensure safety and provide oversight during high-risk training evolutions, including firefighting and engineering drills

• Certifications:
  • EMT-Basic certified and registered with the National Registry of EMTs or a state equivalent
  • Certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
  • Licensed Training Provider or Certified Instructor (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
  • Certified in Heat Stress Monitoring
• Physical Requirements:
  • Able to ascend/descend ladders and navigate narrow passageways
  • Capable of withstanding extreme heat and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Free of abnormal fear of heights or confined spaces
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Clearance: Eligible for a favorable background clearance
