Release Train Engineer (RTE) / Release Delivery Lead (RDL)

Location: Remote

Experience: 8+ Year

Duration: 12+ Months

Role Summary: Seeking an experienced RTE/RDL to lead Agile Release Train execution across multiple programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience facilitating PI Planning, managing cross-team dependencies, driving risk and issue resolution, and influencing senior stakeholders to make timely decisions. This is a leadership role requiring strong facilitation skills, executive presence, and the ability to operate effectively from day one.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience as an RTE, RDL, or Program Delivery Lead
Hands-on experience with:

PI Planning facilitation
Rally (CA Agile Central)
Cross-team dependency management
Program risk and impediment management

Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Ability to drive planning, prioritization, and decision-making across concurrent programs
Experience using GenAI tools (Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve delivery productivity and outcomes

Preferred Skills

Healthcare, Health Insurance, or other regulated industry experience
Experience leading large-scale Agile programs and ARTs

Good to Have

SAFe Certification (not mandatory)
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira Align, or similar Agile tools

Ideal Candidate: A strong delivery leader with proven RTE/RDL experience, excellent facilitation skills, and the confidence to lead discussions with senior stakeholders, drive decisions in real time, and successfully manage complex enterprise programs with minimal ramp-up.
