Licensed Practical Nurse Quality Director

Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is a growing psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving both adult and geriatric populations. POSITION SUMMARY

A Quality Director at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is responsible for overseeing performance improvement initiatives and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compliant patient care. In this role, the Quality Director monitors clinical outcomes, conducts audits, and analyzes data to identify areas for improvement. They develop and implement quality improvement programs, ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards, and lead regulatory surveys and readiness efforts. The Quality Director collaborates with leadership and clinical teams to enhance patient safety, reduce risk, and promote best practices. They also provide staff education on quality measures and ensure accurate documentation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of healthcare regulations are essential for success in this role. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Education: Current clinical licensure in State of practice. License: State of Practice. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical setting in the healthcare and/or medical industry is required. Previous experience in quality or performance improvement activities is preferred. If below experience standards, they must be enrolled in ongoing coursework in performance improvement and CQI methodology.
