Senior Grants Program Analyst Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) Classification: ANALYST IV Salary: $7,276.00 - $9,107.00 per month (minimum salary for new to state candidates). Work Location: Sacramento (Hybrid – at least four days a week in office). Job Type: Permanent, Full Time. Final Filing Date: 6/7/2026 Responsibilities The Senior Grants Program Analyst leads the implementation of key CalOSBA programs and initiatives, including federally funded programs within CalOSBA. The incumbent defines and implements processes, reports on and analyzes program performance internally and externally, and ensures all programs are managed in a timely manner and in compliance with federal and state reporting requirements. Key duties include: Conduct operational and policy development for the Entrepreneurship & Innovation team. Serve as project leader for department‑wide projects, evaluating implementation of new operational processes. Research methods for improving department programs and develop strategies related to the program area(s). Provide consultative services and recommendations to internal and/or external executive‑level management. Act as a subject matter expert on performance data for CalOSBA. Address complex, undefined, or evolving problems involving intangible factors. Travel may be required for mandatory team meetings in the Sacramento headquarters. Minimum Requirements Qualifications and minimum requirements are listed in the Class Specification (Analyst IV). The position requires the Analyst IV exam for eligibility unless transfer or reinstatement eligibility is present.
