Construction Project Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire) Robert Half is partnering with a growing and well-established construction company in the Schenectady area to hire a Construction Project Coordinator. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting projects behind the scenes and ensuring the details are handled correctly from start to finish.

You'll play a key role in project setup, contract review, vendor coordination, compliance tracking, purchase order management, and bid support while working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers. Key Responsibilities Set up new projects and maintain project files, documentation, and electronic records Review contracts and project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Issue and track purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors Coordinate vendor and customer pre-qualification requirements Support bid processes and pre-construction activities through document preparation, tracking, and coordination Maintain compliance documentation, including certificates of insurance and related subcontractor records Monitor and follow up on missing or expired insurance certificates and compliance items Organize and maintain project logs, records, and supporting documentation Assist Project Managers with project administration, correspondence, document control, and general clerical support Support multiple active projects while ensuring deadlines and documentation requirements are met Perform additional administrative and business support duties as assigned by management What's Offered Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Immediate opportunity with a stable and growing construction organization Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting commercial construction projects Exposure to project setup, contracts, compliance, vendor coordination, and bid administration Potential for long-term employment through a contract-to-hire transition Competitive benefits package

Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, contract administration, or administrative support Experience supporting a contractor, construction firm, engineering company, or project-based organization preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail Experience working with contracts, compliance documentation, purchase orders, or project files is a plus Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication, follow-up, and customer service skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers
