This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine your technical expertise with your ability to guide and mentor others. You'll lead daily maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, coach fellow technicians, and partner with Production and Engineering to improve equipment reliability and maximize plant performance. The pay range for this position is $38.00-$42.00 per hour, depending on experienceWhat you'll doLead and coordinate daily maintenance activities while working alongside the maintenance teamPrioritize maintenance work orders and assign tasks based on production needs and equipment criticalityPerform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated manufacturing equipmentServe as the technical resource for complex equipment failures and root cause analysisSupport preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliabilityAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and commissioning of new production equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, PLC logic, and equipment manualsCoach and mentor maintenance technicians by sharing technical knowledge and best practicesVerify maintenance work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with company standardsPartner with Production and Engineering to identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and increase productivityEnsure accurate completion of work orders, maintenance records, spare parts usage, and equipment documentation within the CMMSAssist with inventory management of maintenance parts, tools, and suppliesSupport continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and reliability initiativesPromote and maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and food/product quality requirementsServe as the maintenance point of contact during assigned shifts and assist with emergency equipment repairs as neededWhat you'll bringHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferredFive or more years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience serving as a Maintenance Lead, Lead Technician, Team Lead, or informal technical leader requiredStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated manufacturing equipmentExperience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment required; programming experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms preferredExperience working with motors, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and other industrial manufacturing equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manualsExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) MaintainX preferredKnowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practicesExperience supporting Lean Manufacturing, TPM, continuous improvement, or reliability initiatives preferredStrong communication, leadership, coaching, and collaboration skills with the ability to mentor and develop other techniciansExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsForklift, aerial lift, confined space, or other maintenance-related certifications are a plusAbility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off-shift hours as needed to support plant operationsWhat you will getKIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
