Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 13 or 26-Week Contract Options | 36 or 48-Hour Weekly Options Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, which may include Neuroscience, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, PCU, Observation, Stepdown, or Solid Organ Transplant units depending on assignment
• Administer and monitor IV drips as required across all assigned floors
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes from the main campus
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
• Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as outlined by unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or pending licensure (pending licenses will be booked six weeks out from start date)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting
• Ability and willingness to float frequently to various units to meet staffing needs
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Experience in specialty areas such as Oncology, Trauma, Neuroscience, Cardiac, or Solid Organ Transplant
