About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting individuals and families in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, board partnership, and the implementation of the organization's strategic plan. This role requires a leader with a strong background in management and leadership, who can balance continuity and change, and is dedicated to increasing the organization's impact while ensuring its growth is sustainable and mission-centered. Key responsibilities include leading a talented staff, fostering a positive and collaborative culture, and deepening relationships with various community partners. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a strong financial and operational acumen, experience in fundraising, and the ability to use data to inform decisions. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have approximately 10 or more years of progressive management and leadership experience, with a proven track record of delivering results. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit, human services, or community-based leadership, and a meaningful connection to the local community. Strong relationship-building skills, experience in fundraising, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders are essential. The role demands a leader with outstanding communication skills, sound judgment, and the capacity to lead through change while keeping the mission at the center of the work. A preferred background includes experience in strategic plan implementation, program evaluation, and a demonstrated capacity to lead an organization through growth and development.
