Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a Medical Assistant for on-site position in Plainview, NY 11803. This is contract work with a Fortune 500 organization. Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Plainview, NY 11803

Duration: 6 Month contract to start, potential for extension and/or conversion to FTE

Rate: $23/Hr

Start Date: ASAP

Position background:

Rooming patients/ cardiac monitors/pacemaker scheduling/patient calls/ in basket messaging/workques/ rx refill requests

Must have qualifications/experience: Some medical assistant background 1-3 years

What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart?

Good people skills. Patience, works well with a team.

Type of certification required: N/A

Shift start & end times: 8:30-4:30pm

Work days per week: 5

Dress code/scrub color: Navy scrubs
