Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students in reaching their full potential through a rewarding contract opportunity in schools in Norristown, PA. We are seeking multiple paraprofessionals who are passionate about education and eager to provide meaningful support to early learners in both 1:1 and classroom environments. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who enjoy helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a collaborative school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous paraprofessional or school-based experience preferred
- Ability to provide patient, individualized support to young students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working within early childhood or elementary school settings
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for supporting student learning and development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct student support in both 1:1 and classroom-based settings
- Assist teachers with instructional activities, classroom organization, and student participation
- Implement individualized learning strategies for students requiring additional support
- Help manage classroom routines, transitions, activities, and basic student care needs
- Encourage a safe, welcoming, and positive educational environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with educational staff and support teams
