Auto Body Finish Painter Technician

Academy Bus is seeking a full time Auto Body Finish Painter Technician for our facility in Orlando, FL.

Earn $28-$33 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with candidate experience level.

Shift:

• 12:00pm-8:30pm

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform paint repairs, restoration, and refinishing to company standards
• Prepare complete vehicle body repair plan, identify parts and supplies needed with estimated completion times.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of fiberglass
• Knowledge of Bondo application
• Knowledge of paint preparation
• Knowledge of paint computer match is a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive paint experience
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• Professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work independently
• General computer skills
