Registered Nurse - Patient Educator (PRN) Immediate Openings - Bloomington, IN

$22.45 - $44.85 per hour

Abbott

Abbott seeks a registered nurse to provide in-home patient education on anticoagulation testing equipment and blood sample collection for Acelis Connected Health customers. This is a per-diem position based in Bloomington, Indiana, requiring extensive travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

Schedule and conduct in-home training appointments with patients and caregivers
Demonstrate proper use, care, and operation of PT/INR testing equipment
Instruct patients on finger stick blood sample collection techniques
Document training sessions and submit records electronically using secure systems
Maintain ongoing communication with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email, and internet

Requirements

Current registered nurse license
Clinical experience in healthcare
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel 100+ miles roundtrip
Computer and smart device proficiency with troubleshooting capability
Anticoagulation management or home care experience preferred
Health education training experience a plus

Compensation: $22.45 – $44.85/hour
