Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (CCL) Kyle, Texas. This role provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including assessment, preparation, and positioning. The position also supports conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary, and requires bringing the license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 10 shift hours, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date; Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Life Support (ACLS); experience with multiple modalities (Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular, Vascular); monitored experience with Merge Hemo
• Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab; assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures; perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary; prepare, implement, and document the plan of care; communicate patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures; perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures; set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Additional Information: Level 2 Trauma Center with 4 labs; department manages multiple modalities (Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular, Vascular); must be able to respond in 30 minutes during call shift
