Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager , you’ll help lead the shift with energy and pride—supporting great service, strong operations, and a welcoming guest experience from the first hello to the final thank-you. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to lead and direct staff in an effective, professional manner. Must meet company performance standards and expectations for the role. Must participate in all company training and orientations, and some training may require overnight travel. Must be able to work the assigned schedule and required hours. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and have the physical ability and stamina to perform management job functions. Specific Job Requirements Ownership mentality : take initiative, follow through, and set the tone for the team. Ability to apply rational problem-solving to practical situations involving multiple variables. Understand financial goals and work to achieve them while maintaining exceptional guest service. Maintain restaurant cleanliness standards in line with The Department of Health and MidSouth Hospitality. Effectively communicate goals to employees and coach them to find the best ways to achieve results. What You’ll Be Doing Support the Restaurant Manager in running day-to-day operations and leading the shift. Coach team members on service, speed, accuracy, and cleanliness. Monitor performance, help solve issues quickly, and keep the restaurant running smoothly. Champion a positive, guest-first culture—ensuring every customer feels welcome.
