About the Facility VA Northern California Health Care System (Mather Campus)

The Mather Campus of the VA Northern California Health Care System is a full-service medical center providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to veterans across a 17-county service area in Northern California. The facility offers a complete range of medical, surgical, and mental health services with strong academic affiliations with UC Davis School of Medicine. The Gastroenterology Department provides a high volume of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and serves as a referral center for complex GI cases across the region.

Position Overview

• Full-time, permanent Gastroenterologist position
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services
• Outpatient GI consultations and follow-up care
• Participation in multidisciplinary GI care teams
• Academic collaboration opportunities with UC Davis

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited GI fellowship
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• BLS certification required
• U.S. citizenship required

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. No on-call, no weekends, no call-back. Federal holiday schedule observed.
