Senior Environmental Planner - Application Deadline 4/20

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading environmental planning projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will manage the preparation of environmental assessments, impact studies, and compliance reports, while engaging with stakeholders, government agencies, and the public to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout each project lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying potential environmental impacts and developing mitigation strategies that align with sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science or planning, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in environmental regulations, such as NEPA and CEQA, is essential. You should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as you will be working closely with diverse teams and external partners. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred, along with professional certifications such as AICP or LEED.
