The internship focuses on electrical and control system design consulting for industrial process control and material handling projects, as well as water and wastewater treatment and pumping projects.**Program Dates:** A typical position is a 10–12 week summer internship, potentially starting at the end of May or beginning of June. Apply below, or email a cover letter and resume to View email address on click.appcast.io You'll Do## Key Responsibilities* Create electrical plan drawings and circuit schedules* Size conduit and wire to comply with the National Electrical Code* Research electrical connection details for commercially available electrical and instrumentation equipment* Collaborate on the development of control system design drawings* Assist with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programmingWhat You Bring## Requirements### Required* Sophomore or junior pursuing a B.S. (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent at an accredited college (computer science programs do not qualify)* Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0* Willing to relocate to the area of one of our offices (Vancouver, WA or Anchor Point, AK)* Able to work the entire 40-hour workweek* U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future* Pass a pre-employment drug test* Solid PC skill set (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)* Work and communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines, clients, task leaders, and project managersWhat We Offer## Benefits & CompensationPay: $22–$27/hourHands-on electrical and control system design experience on client projectsApply Now## Ready to Apply?We review all applications and respond within one week. #J-18808-Ljbffr Industrial Systems, Inc.
