Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Possibility of Temp-to-Hire); Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week; Day Shift with Variable Start Times; No Weekends or Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily Operating Room operations, driving key performance indicators including turnaround times and first case on-time starts
• Ensure regulatory preparedness and compliance with TJC and DOH survey requirements
• Oversee new project roll-outs and sustain ongoing departmental compliance initiatives
• Manage staff scheduling and workforce operations utilizing scheduling and timekeeping platforms
• Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and on-call support as needed
• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room when required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in an OR leadership role
• Trauma experience required
• Strong working knowledge of current AORN Guidelines and evidence-based practice
• Experience managing within a collective bargaining environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Proficiency with UKG, Kronos, and/or Workday for staff scheduling and timekeeping
• High Reliability Organization (HRO) training or familiarity
