Team Member- Cashier/Baker + Shared Cash Tips

Job Description
The Team Member - Cashier/Baker plays a vital role in providing excellent customer service while preparing and handling baked goods, primarily bread and rolls in a mixed variety. This position supports the daily operations of a busy bakery with a team of 25+ members, sharing cash tips biweekly and occasionally cross-training in other store functions to enhance versatility. Also Shared Cash Tips!!
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Prepare and bake bread and rolls with consistent quality
- Operate point of sale (POS) systems
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Replenish stock to ensure product availability
- Report to a Manager or Shift lead on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Food Handler knowledge and compliance
- Experience with point of sale (POS) systems
- Proven cash handling skills
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Mastery of baking techniques relevant to bread and rolls
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Teamwork and collaboration mindset
- Good time management skills
- Reliable Transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in retail or food service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver License
