Company Mercer Job Description We are seeking a talented individual to join our Wealth Investment team at Mercer. This role will be based in King of Prussia or Philadelphia, PA. It is a client‑facing, Investment Consulting position that primarily works with Mercer's Endowment and Foundation clients. The role is hybrid and requires working at least three days a week in the office. Responsibilities Work with clients' staff, investment committees, and boards to deliver a spectrum of investment advice and solutions. Analyze markets, investment managers, portfolios, and investment performance. Leverage expertise to design, develop, deliver, and communicate investment solutions for clients. Collaborate across internal teams on investment strategy, portfolio management, research, marketing, sales, and consulting practice. Support Senior Investment Consultants in client and business development work. Mentor junior colleagues in their career development. Engage with clients and prospective clients to grow the breadth of services delivered to help them advance their missions. Qualifications A bachelor's degree preferably in a field relevant to this position. A minimum of 5 years of experience related to this position. Preferred Qualifications Pursuit of CFA charter. A proven history of excellent client service. Experience presenting complex topics to clients with varying levels of sophistication, across both traditional and alternative investments. Self‑motivation and proven ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. Mastery of detail while understanding the bigger picture. Eagerness to learn and keep up to date with the investment industry and market conditions. Adaptability and decisiveness. Technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability and desire to manage, motivate, and mentor junior‑level colleagues. Preferred experience leading relationships with both large and small endowment and foundation clients. Experience leading relationships with complex clients. Demonstrable communication of both traditional and alternative investments to clients.
