What You’ll Take On (the actual job description) Head of Facultative Reinsurance, Shape the future of our facultative reinsurance portfolio across North America. This is a leadership role with real influence, combining strategy, underwriting expertise and commercial decision-making to drive profitable growth. You'll work closely with clients, brokers and senior stakeholders, using market insight and strong judgement to build solutions that create long-term value. At the same time, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team, setting the direction for the portfolio while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence. What You’ll Own Own and execute the North American facultative reinsurance strategy, aligning portfolio growth with commercial objectives. Drive underwriting performance and pricing discipline, turning market insight into sustainable profitability. Build trusted relationships with clients and brokers, helping secure and expand high-value opportunities. Lead complex risk assessments and reinsurance placements, delivering effective solutions for evolving exposures. Develop and inspire a high-performing team, creating an environment where talent, collaboration and innovation thrive. Extensive experience in facultative reinsurance, strong leadership credentials and a proven ability to balance strategy with execution. You'll combine deep market knowledge with commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management and a track record of growing profitable portfolios while leading teams through change and opportunity.
