In this role, you will collaborate closely with FPGA engineers, RF engineers, and systems engineers to ensure seamless interaction between embedded software components and onboard electronics. The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience developing embedded software in C or C++Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS development, or bare metal firmwareExperience designing software for real-time systems or high reliability applicationsExperience integrating software with custom digital hardware such as FPGA based systemsExperience with software-hardware debugging using tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or protocol analyzersExperience with configuration management, automated testing, CI / CD, and automated build systemsExperience with software architecture design, communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, or LVDS, and hardware abstraction layersExperience using scientific or analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python for algorithm development or data evaluationSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer ScienceNice If You Have:Experience working with cross-functional teams and remote team membersExperience with space qualified embedded systems or satellite subsystem designExperience with Yocto, BitBake, U Boot, or device tree developmentExperience with embedded cybersecurity, secure boot, or trusted execution environmentsExperience with DSP algorithms and real-time signal processing softwareExperience with software simulation, hardware in the loop testing, or digital twin environmentsExperience with MBSE and MBSE tools such as MagicDrawKnowledge of radiation tolerant computing techniques or system hardening approachesKnowledge of RF systems, telemetry or command subsystems, or spacecraft communication protocolsCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
